To provide an effective and safe service, I may collect: your contact details (name,

phone number, email, address, GP name and address), relevant background and

personal information shared during sessions, details of any prescribed drugs you are

currently taking (for safety and suitability of treatment), and session notes and

appointment history.

3. Purpose of Collecting Your Data

Your data is collected to: provide hypnotherapy services tailored to your needs, ensure

your safety and suitability for hypnotherapy (including consideration of prescribed

medications), manage bookings, payments, and communication, and maintain

professional and insurance-required records.

4. Data Storage and Security

All records are stored securely (digitally and/or on paper) in compliance with UK GDPR.

Records are retained for up to 7 years after your final session (as required by insurance

and professional standards) and then securely destroyed. Email communications are

stored securely and encrypted where possible.

5. Sharing Your Information

Your information — including prescribed drug details — will never be shared with third

parties without your written consent, except where required by law or for safeguarding

purposes.

6. Your Rights

Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to: access the personal data I hold about you,

request correction or deletion of your data, withdraw consent for contact at any time, and

lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you believe your

data is being mishandled.
