I’ve had a fear of birds for as long as I can remember. I’ve always had to avoid certain situations or places and there have been many embarrassing, stressful times along the way; walking off a beach, running away from my daughter on a school farm trip, dodging pigeons in a shopping area, leaving my family at a table whilst having lunch, and asking to sit inside a restaurant in fear a bird may land. Far too many times to remember.

The emotions that run through you in those situations are simply horrible.
I asked Sarah whether it was something she could help me with. She made me feel so calm & relaxed talking about it, and I immediately put my trust in her believing this was something I could actually overcome.
We had 5 sessions in total, Sarah guiding and reassuring me every step of the way. It was fascinating listening to how it works and the theory of replacing one bad memory with a totally different outcome. I was eager, but equally sceptical to see if it had worked.

I’ve had 2 occasions since our sessions where I have come very close to pigeons. I believed in myself, and walked past them, very closely without stepping aside, I did it and it felt fantastic! I then had a pigeon swoop down very close to my head, I flinched a little but didn’t scream or run, which I would have done before, I did it! I was so proud of myself and couldn’t believe what I had achieved.

Being able to walk down the street now and not panic every time I see a bird is an indescribable feeling. I want to keep putting myself in situations to test this further as this is a true game changer for me, and Sarah, I can’t thank you enough.
